Design details
Wheels
Four spinner wheels, each turning a full 360°, so the case rolls upright beside you down an aisle rather than dragging behind.
Handle
Telescopic, locking at more than one height. On a soft case the handle carries more of the structure than it does on a hardshell, so extend it fully and feel for play before you commit.
Interior
Internal straps and a zipped divider. This is the only Starlet with a TSA-approved lock. The medium and large carry a plain combination lock — fine across the UK and Europe, but not one American security can open without cutting it off.
Shell
Canvas over a frame rather than a moulded shell. It gives where a hardshell won't, which is what gets a slightly overpacked bag into the sizer — and it cannot crack, because there is nothing rigid to crack. The trade is scuffs against splits. Soft luggage scuffs; hard luggage cracks. Pick the failure you mind less.

We measure to the outside of the wheels and the top of the retracted handle, because that is how the airline measures it. Check the number against your own fare before you fly — allowances change, and ours is the only number we can promise.

Care and warranty
Wipe the shell with a damp cloth. Skip solvents — the matte finish doesn't need them. Empty the case fully before storing, and store it dry with the zips a hand's-width open.
We don't sell spare parts — there's no counter for that. If something that moves fails, email us and we send a prepaid label. The case goes to our repair centre and comes back repaired or replaced, usually within two to three weeks. Covered: wheels, the handle mechanism, locks, zips and side handles.
