Size Guide
Four sizes, and what each is actually for. All our measurements include wheels and handle — the way an airline measures. Here's why that matters.
Cabin
Around 55cm tall. Designed for the overhead locker on most airlines, though the exact limit varies by airline and fare — always check yours. Holds three to four days comfortably, or a week if you're disciplined. This is the size where centimetres count, so measure before you fly.
Medium
Around 65–69cm. Checked luggage for one person for a week or two. If you're only going to own one case, this is usually the one — big enough for most trips, small enough to carry up stairs.
Large
Around 75–78cm. Two weeks and up, or families sharing a case. Watch the weight allowance rather than the size: a large case filled with books will hit 23kg long before it's full.
XL
Above 78cm. Long trips, relocations, and anyone who travels with sports kit. Almost always over most airlines' checked weight allowance if you fill it, so pack by the scales rather than by the space.
Sets
Three cases — usually cabin, medium and large — that nest inside each other. Cheaper than buying the same three separately, and they store in the footprint of the biggest one. The obvious choice if the household needs more than one case.
Soft bags and accessories
Holdalls, backpacks, washbags and packing cubes are sized by capacity rather than airline limits. The backpacks and smaller bags are intended as your under-seat item alongside a cabin case.
How to choose between two sizes
Pack for your most common trip, not your longest one. An empty corner in a medium case is cheaper than an excess-baggage fee on a large one.
