Wheels
Four spinner wheels, each turning a full 360° — which matters more the heavier the case gets.
Handle
Telescopic, locking at more than one height. On a large soft case the handle carries a real share of the structure, so extend it fully and feel for play before you commit.
Interior
Internal straps and a zipped divider. Soft sides flex as you fill them, so the straps earn their keep here more than on a rigid case. A plain combination lock on this size rather than TSA. Fine across the UK and Europe; the cabin is the size with the TSA lock.
Shell
Canvas over a frame rather than a moulded shell. At this size that is the difference between a case you can lift and one you end up dragging. The trade is scuffs against splits. Soft luggage scuffs; hard luggage cracks. Pick the failure you mind less.
Cabin size

We measure to the outside of the wheels and the top of the retracted handle, because that is how the airline measures it. Check the number against your own fare before you fly — allowances change, and ours is the only number we can promise.
Between sizes? If you fly carry-on more than you check, take the 55 — it lives in the overhead bin.

Wipe the shell with a damp cloth. Skip solvents — the matte finish doesn't need them. Empty the case fully before storing, and store it dry with the zips a hand's-width open.
We don't sell spare parts — there's no counter for that. If something that moves fails, email us and we send a prepaid label. The case goes to our repair centre and comes back repaired or replaced, usually within two to three weeks. Covered: wheels, the handle mechanism, locks, zips and side handles.
