Design details

The two-wheel base

Two wheels recessed into the base, so it rolls when the floor is smooth and goes on your back when it isn't. The wheels sit inside the shell rather than proud of it, which is what stops them catching on a stair edge or a kerb.

The handle and the straps

A telescopic trolley handle with locking heights, and padded shoulder straps for the stairs, the cobbles and the last hundred metres. Extend the handle and check for wobble — that's the test people run in a shop, and it's the right one.

The laptop compartment and the organiser

A padded laptop compartment against the back panel, a boxy main compartment behind it, and a front organiser for pens, cables and the things that otherwise live loose at the bottom. A bottle pocket on the side takes a flask without stretching the shell.

The water-resistant nylon body

A water-resistant nylon body — not waterproof, and we won't call it that. It takes drizzle between the car and the terminal and wipes clean afterwards. Soft-sided, so it gives where a hard shell would crack.

Care and warranty

Wipe the nylon with a damp cloth and mild soap; skip solvents. Let it dry fully before you store it, and store it with the zips a hand's-width open so the inside can breathe. Empty the front pockets — a forgotten pen is how linings get marked.

We don't sell spare parts — there's no counter for that. If something that moves fails, email us and we send a prepaid label. The case goes to our repair centre and comes back repaired or replaced, usually within two to three weeks. Covered: wheels, the handle mechanism, locks, zips and side handles.
