Wheels
Four spinner wheels, each turning a full 360°, so the case rolls upright beside you rather than dragging behind.
Handle
Telescopic, locking at more than one height. On a rigid case the handle is the only part with any give in it, so extend it fully and feel for side-to-side play before you commit — there is nothing else to absorb it.
Interior
A rigid shell doesn't flex, so a full case never presses in on what's inside it. That is the practical argument for aluminium over plastic, rather than the way it looks. A TSA-approved combination lock, which security can open and re-lock rather than cutting it off.
Shell
Aluminium behaves differently from a plastic shell. Polycarbonate flexes under impact and springs back; aluminium dents, and the dent stays. What you get in exchange is rigidity — it doesn't flex, so what's inside doesn't get squeezed, and it holds its shape for decades.

We measure to the outside of the wheels and the top of the retracted handle, because that is how the airline measures it. Check the number against your own fare before you fly — allowances change, and ours is the only number we can promise.

Care and warranty
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. No abrasive cleaners or solvents. Aluminium dents rather than flexing, so be gentle at the check-in desk and don't stack anything heavy on it. Dents are permanent — some owners like that, but it is worth knowing. Clear grit out of the wheel housings every few trips. Store upright, empty and dry, with the handle down.
We don't sell spare parts — there's no counter for that. If something that moves fails, email us and we send a prepaid label. The case goes to our repair centre and comes back repaired or replaced, usually within two to three weeks. Covered: wheels, the handle mechanism, locks, zips and side handles.
