Wheels
Four spinner wheels, each turning a full 360° — which matters more on a case carrying this much weight.
Handle
Telescopic, locking at more than one height. Extend it fully and feel for side-to-side play — that is the test worth doing on any case before you buy it, ours included.
Interior
Internal cross-straps and zipped compartments, behind a TSA-approved combination lock that security can open and re-lock rather than cut off. The main zip is water-resistant. This size expands. Worth saving for the return leg rather than spending on the way out.
Shell
Polypropylene, not ABS. It flexes on impact and returns to shape; ABS splits, and a cracked shell is the second most common complaint in luggage after wheels. We don't stock ABS at all. Impact resistance is the entire argument for the material, which is why Dallas is what we recommend to people who check a bag several times a year.
Cabin size

We measure to the outside of the wheels and the top of the retracted handle, because that is how the airline measures it. Check the number against your own fare before you fly — allowances change, and ours is the only number we can promise.
Between sizes? If you fly carry-on more than you check, take the 55.5 — it lives in the overhead bin.

Wipe the shell with a damp cloth. Skip solvents — the matte finish doesn't need them. Empty the case fully before storing, and store it dry with the zips a hand's-width open.
We don't sell spare parts — there's no counter for that. If something that moves fails, email us and we send a prepaid label. The case goes to our repair centre and comes back repaired or replaced, usually within two to three weeks. Covered: wheels, the handle mechanism, locks, zips and side handles.
