Design details
Wheels
Four spinner wheels, each turning a full 360°, so the case rolls upright beside you down an aisle rather than dragging behind.
Handle
Telescopic, with multiple locking heights so it stops where you leave it. Extend it fully and feel for the wobble — that is the test worth doing on any case.
Interior
Packing straps across the main compartment and a zipped divider, so a full case doesn't shift in the hold — which is what creases clothes, far more than folding does. The cabin size adds a front pocket the medium and large don't have. A TSA-certified combination lock throughout, which security can open and re-lock without cutting it off.
Shell
Polypropylene rather than ABS. It flexes under impact and springs back; ABS splits, and cracking is the second most common complaint in luggage after wheels. We don't stock ABS at all. Most of the Matrix colours are pale, which is the point of the range — but a pale shell shows marks a dark one hides. Worth knowing before you choose rather than after a season on the belt.

We measure to the outside of the wheels and the top of the retracted handle, because that is how the airline measures it. Check the number against your own fare before you fly — allowances change, and ours is the only number we can promise.

Care and warranty
Wipe the shell with a damp cloth. Skip solvents — the matte finish doesn't need them. Empty the case fully before storing, and store it dry with the zips a hand's-width open.
We don't sell spare parts — there's no counter for that. If something that moves fails, email us and we send a prepaid label. The case goes to our repair centre and comes back repaired or replaced, usually within two to three weeks. Covered: wheels, the handle mechanism, locks, zips and side handles.
