Design details
The straps and the grab handle
Padded shoulder straps with a webbing adjuster on each side, and a grab handle across the top for the moments a backpack becomes something you carry in one hand — an overhead locker, a security tray, the back of a taxi.
One deep compartment
One deep main compartment rather than a warren of pockets, with a front zip pocket for the things you reach for without stopping. A sleeve on the back slides over a case handle, so on a travel day it rides on the case instead of on you.
The water-resistant nylon body
The same water-resistant nylon as the cases — not waterproof, and we won't call it that. Reinforced at the base corners, which is where a full daypack takes its wear and where cheap ones give out first.

We measure the outside of the bag, empty and unexpanded, at its widest points. A soft bag gives a little when it is packed light, but this is the number to check against any size limit.

Care and warranty
Wipe the nylon with a damp cloth and mild soap; skip solvents. Let it dry fully before you store it, and store it with the zips a hand's-width open so the inside can breathe. Empty the pockets — a forgotten pen is how linings get marked.
We don't sell spare parts — there's no counter for that. If a zip, buckle or strap fitting fails, email us and we send a prepaid label. The bag goes to our repair centre and comes back repaired or replaced, usually within two to three weeks.
Three years on the parts that move — zips, buckles and strap fittings. If one fails under normal use we repair or replace it. Keep your order number; that's all the paperwork we need.
